Warehouse Inventory Drone

Manual warehouse stocktaking takes hours and shuts down operations. Our multi-rotor drone system automates the entire process: STM32 flight controller with PID stabilization navigates a 3D waypoint grid across shelf structures, while OpenMV camera scans QR codes and barcodes at each position. Laser calibration ensures distance and alignment accuracy.

BLE communication streams scan results in real-time to the inventory server for stock reconciliation. The system achieves 95% barcode recognition accuracy and completes a full shelf scan in under 3 minutes—turning a half-day manual process into an autonomous fly-through. Built for the 2025 National Electronic Design Competition.
